Favorite Movies

Hey all, I thought it would be fun if everyone posted there ten favorite movies here. Tell us why you liked 'em or don't, it's all good in the Favorite Movies section!

1) Forest Gump: BEST MOVIE EVER!! Just brilliant, funny, moving, awesome story, great characters, I love how real life events are tied in. JFK: "And how do you feel?" Forest: "I have to pee." JFK "I believe this man has to go pee." cooool.

So this list isn't really complete after 'Forest Gump' but a few of them are certainly in the top ten, but not necessarily in correct order, for the most part they are though.

2) Anchorman: Funniest movie ever, if I'm not mistaken, I love Will Feral, and this had a great supporting cast, and DANG ITS FUNNY STUFF!! "That escelated quickly." "Rick killed a guy." "Yeah I've been meaning to talk to you about that, you should probably lie low for a while. Go stay with your aunt for a couple months or something." (OK not a perfect quote, but that scene in the alley was great, best part I think).

3) The Godfather: Well... it is the Godfather, how can it not be in your top 3??? It's like the Beatles of music, but it aged better. Don't get my wrong the Beatles are awesome, but it does sound a little outdated to me, whereas the Godfather is way better then most any movie that comes out even today (well shoot it is better then any movie that has come out to this date excluding Forest Gump and Anchorman, and actually I'd put Godfather before Anchorman, but I wanted a Comedy in between the two dramas).

4) The Matrix: Dude this movie made me question my very existence, that says something (Truman show was the only other movie to do that... I saw it when I was like 12 and I kept thinking maybe I was on a TV show O.O, I am that cool. Harry Potter the books gave me a similar suspicion...) Also, the special effects were awesome at the time, dodge bullets? cooooool, especially in the 90s.

5) The Bourne Identity: Not really sure which of the Bourne movies is my favorite (I liked them all a lot, great action, and I liked the intense fighting style that was really emphasized in the second movie, the car chase was great though in the first movie, and the third one... eh it was just cool, but I can't remember that one too well atm, like they're just one big movie when you think about it).

6) Ground Hog Day: Love Bill Murray, love this movie!! Scrooge is another good one by him, funny stuff.

7) Saving Private Ryan: This movie deserves better then 7, but w/e its just a list for fun. One of my favorite movies here, it goes - Forest Gump, The Godfather and Saving Private Ryan.

Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi: Great movie, classic, cheesy effects by todays standards but still great. What more can you say? USE THE FORCE LUKE!! (you can always say that, duh)

9) Lion King: I love Alice in Wonderland (the cartoon, Johnny Depp was just creapy as the Mad Hatter, not MAD like the cartoon was) but Lion King... is the KING gosh dangit!! It's Disney cartoon but hey, its still a great movie. It wasn't nominated for best picture, but can anyone tell me (and don't google, or otherwise use the internet to find out you cheater!) what cartoon movie was the only cartoon movie ever nominated for best film?

10) Lord of the Rings: OK all the films rock, 1st and 3rd are my favorite, the second half the first one (mines of moria... so epic) is probably my favorite part in the entire trilogy (I just love the mines of moria OK, and the balrog was so epic...), but the third movie probably had the most 'wow thats cool' scenes. I loved those mumakils...

SO! That's my list of top ten favorite movies, long, boring maybe, but so what, don't read it then shmuck! Let me know what you think, do you agree, disagree, and most importaly, WHATS UR TOP TEN MOVIES OF ALL TIME?!! Let us know, but maybe don't give us such a crap load of detail like I did, maybe some bored fatty fat kid will read the whole thing though, who knows?

1. Inglorious Basterds (spelled correctly).. A great movie! "This just might be my masterpiece".. Brad Pitt at his best!... He is actually a good actor when he doesnt have the
2. Dead Poet Society. A brilliant movie! Must watch! though the ending is sad... but its about doing waht you really want to do in your life, not just what is expected that you will do in your life... "Oh Captain, My Captain!"
3. Lord of the Rings though ive watched them too many times... my sister even memorized everything they say in the 3rd once... The 2nd is not theat great but the 1st and 3rd are good... Cant wait for "The Hobbit" to come out...

Clockwork Orange... one of the craziest, but best movies ever! Actually i think it deserves the 3rd spot better than LOTR...
Psycho (the old one)... There is nothing like a good, old horror movie....
Alice in Wonderland... the best animated movie ever made... the mad hatter really is a psycho...
Nightmare before Christmas... A great movie
Corpse Bride. THe ending kinda kills it though its a great movie...
Resovoir Dogs.

nice list fatty! I've got to watch that Poet movie, if the rest of your list is that good, and that's your second favorite, it must be good.

I almost put Alice in Wonderland and Clockwork Orange on my list, but Clockwork Orange is just too disgusting, perverted and FREAKIN' WEIRD to be put on my top ten, but its a really well done... and fascinating movie. Also love Alice in Wonderland, but Lion King is just a masterpiece, idk they're probably equal in my book but Lion King is more universally loved by the masses. Its also more heart warming, better story, but Alice in Wonderland has some of the best cartoon characters ever, and I love all the great cartoon art, and its just MAD!!

Nice choices, nice choices, I also considered Nightmare Before Christmas (I wanted at least one kind of animated movie) but it just couldn't compare with Lion King or Alice in Wonderland, and there's so many live action movies better then Nightmare, but its still a great movie, just maybe top 100 instead of top 10.

Braveheart, Gladiator, Reservoir Dogs (Pulp Fiction's better!) are all great movies (Corpse Bride??? That movie was lame!), and I see you agreed with me on LotR, 1st and 3rd are the best. NO FOREST GUMP!?~??!DD (rage quit)

Corpse Bride was OK, I kind of liked it, but top ten?!?!

Oh and Jaytay... wow, you have the wierdest taste in movies... Love Guru? I never saw it but that got horrible reviews, and you include in the top ten?!?! Over Oscar winners and awesome movies like One Flew Over The Cookus Nest, Dancing with Wolves, Platoon, the list goes on and on... AND YOU CHOSE LOVE GURU?!! Nice movies vas! Shawshank is one of my favourites, but forgot to include it in my list + dark knight! and fight club. "There is one rule about fight club. You dont talk about fightclub!"... echoes how can dawn of the dead be the first movie you ever saw?

Dexter is one of my favorite TV shows! He is a ballin serial killa, and the show is one of the of the best shows I've seen. (5 seasons of dexter and each season is new and unique)

Another great movie is American History X and Die Welle (a german movie) both about nazism... but both very good

Good movies, 'least to me, are the Transformer movies.

Transformer? it can only be because of megan fox you are saying that...

Knew someone would say that... Yes, she's hot, but the movie had some kick-ass fights and good CGI in it.

127 hours was also pretty good... but it doesnt deserve a top 10 place...
