Dang those look good is this ur first custom game u made

I've never published single one map, (I know, horrible truth, ain't it?) but I've made many, many maps with custom models and quite many with normal warcraft III models aswell. Also, I have terrain of nagrand finished, or at least... For now, without any doodads that is, I'll be attending on Zangarmarsh and when it is done I'll make sure that Nick gets the map so he can post some pictures and such if he so wishes.

These pictures are amazing. I speak for all of BHoR when I say we will be proud to play this map as a clan!

I can't wait to play this map when its done.

Yes, Netherstorm will have bridges, everything else will also have bridges, you will not be able to walk through walls and you will be able to walk on certain cliffs and walls... Not all of them. *sage nod* Even currently you can basically walk through a damn wall but let's worry about that later, shall we? Also I did asked for permission for flying ships'n'such, I guess it ain't certain yet tho.

im rly liking the terraining... this is looking like a work of art so far! and you havent even finished doodading. bravo bravo

The Portal looks great

Basically, at first I made shattrath city on blank ground, making heights entirely with models.. Didnt work out, then I made second version, using cliffs... And this third one which is final, and first and second will be wiped off, this third one was made with height... Easily.
Editing here, also most of the small bases this far in the world, will be remade like I remade black temple, as the previous black temple which was three ziggurats, was there only to mark the location, like are most of the towns and forts this far, placed in the world.

so how big is this map gona be? Is it gona be like the size of the map of WoWR or like only 1 continent? or maybe somewhere in the middle?

With instances added, it'll be about the same size as wowr.

Edit: but without, as it will be, it will be about half the size.

Right, like how shattrath is, but the other instances will probably be smaller then that.

So are the instances gona be like just the major places (Like Shattrath and Black Temple) or are there gona be some other instances as well? (like auchindoun?)

Do u get income from controllin Citadel or do u need whole region?

Well there's going to be an instanced hellfire citadel as well. If you've played wow, you'd know how this works. 1 instance was outside and 2 were inside. so 2/3 of the citadel will be instanced. If you control the whole thing, then u get income.

I learned to terrain... All by myself... I never went through any tutorial or anything and in fact the first time I terrained I had opened world editor by accident... Cheers for that.

This is nickel, I'm using Vas's account because I can't loggin into mine.

O.K. so new pics added and new rules. Please only post if you have something to say about the map, have a question, would like to give a suggestion, talk to the terrainer etc. But all posts need to be terrain related. So any class, unit, gameplay ideas can go in the thread created for them.
