Ill help test too And I gota question... Is this gonna be like WoWR with you controlling whole region gets you money? Or like Middle-Earth Risk where you can get income for controlling fortresses (such as Barad-dur and Helms Deep) 'Cause if I know that (as well as testing ) I can suggest some more ideas!

I have a suggestion for allying... maybe some races (Such as Fel Horde & Alliance Expedition *any of them*) should not be able to ally [BECAUSE THEY ARE ENEMIES!!!!!!] or if they are able to ally should not get "buffs" as you such suggested, or buffs that decrease effectiveness or possibly lose such units.... I'm not quite sure if any or atleast some of these are good ideas... I can only hope that they help in atleast some way

I got another idea, kinda crappy, but I saw it in some game (not a risk so it may not work) There were some units that could switch between being ranged units to being melee units. Prolly wont work, but maybe u could make it so archers could take out like a knife or something so if enemies got close there would be some sort of melee after the rest dies, albeit crappy.

I've considered this before and it could work... the only thing I didn't like is that you would have to activate/deactivate the ability for each unit, and in risk there's not a lot of time for that. But I'll think about it, thanks.

Maybe also put some simpler items in there? Like Wizard Robes or Shaman Claws? Maybe like the Lion Horn of Stormwind? I mean theres the good items then there could be the crappy ones that do something but not much
p.s. Maybe also put like bonus's for controlling regions or special places?
Ex: Blessing of the Naaru - Plus 3 armor, heals .5 hp per second, gained when holding shattrath city

Yeah I'll be adding items, not sure how they'll work exactly, but these names help thanks. I might do cheap/expensive items too, thanks for the idea.

About the Death Ray... You gota mention Nikola Tesla considering he made designs and possibly created one...

Eye of the Storm- You should give them (as you said) a limited amount of units but make them Draenei vs. Blood Elves since they are who are fighting there, plus maybe if they capture areas they get more units or can train units (If u do this give them like 50 or so gold at start?) I dono how much this will help... but it seemed like a good idea to atleast post this

Yeah I was thinking about giving some bonus or something to capturing checkpoints, maybe even add a flag that has some bonus if u control it for a turn or somethin. maybe have the flag pop up at the beginning of the second turn (as bg would only be 2 turns) and if you capture it and return it to your home base you get.. like 10g or something.
But yeah i think it would just be race vs race, not BE vs Draenei. Might be kinda wierd if fel orcs can suddenly control Draenei units. We'll see though.

True would be wierd... but I still think the idea for controlling a point = units (somehow) would be good same with the flag idea, but I also think it should be 3 turns then flag = 2nd turn so it can be fought over
